If you are in the market
to purchase a villa or apartment and you are promised
hotel access or beach access through a hotel. Be
very wary. Ask the developer to put it in writing.
One agreement should be with the developer selling you
the villa or apartment and one should be with the hotel
promising beach access. Just for safety's sake,
ask how far you are away the REAL PUBLIC BEACH entrance. It happened to me when I made my first investment here and I learned from experience of the unscrupulous real estate brokers and developers promising hotel access and beach access via a certain hotel. This is simply because they are far from the only public beach access in Bavaro and still want top dollar for their units. The hotel access to the beach usually ends abruptly after the last apartment or villa is sold. If you need help with purchasing, I do this at no charge unless you buy.
